Ultra-layered cuts like the modern shag look awesome when you let curls look slightly messy and undone. Wrap damp, gelled hair into pin curls, making certain the ends are smooth and flat. Set all you hair and dry with a diffuser, then pull out bobby pins and brush curls individually.
